Or something like that...
I am a fan of the Infiniti G37. It's my daily driver. It's far from perfect but it fulfills most of my needs. However, I will never think of it as a particularly special car. It has little historic significance, large production numbers, a very common engine, no racing heritage, etc.
But what some owners may not have realized is that overseas, the G coupe and sedan were branded as Nissan Skylines in other markets. Yes, Skyline, like that same JDM legend.
This loose connection to a once-legendary line of cars from Nissan has perhaps empowered some owners to lightly inflate the perceived value of their Infinitis, like this gentleman below:
$50,000 for an 11 year old mass produced car is steep. But maybe there's more to it? Maybe it's a low mileage, completely immaculate, fully loaded example with some kind of rare configuration? Let's see what Shawn has to say.
So the body isn't perfect and neither is the interior. But on top of that, Shawn is forcing his old bicycles on you too. Coupled with the winter tires, I wonder how those rear seats got ripped? The G isn't even fully loaded, as it's missing the factory backup camera and navigation. And the cherry on top - you're going to have to pay him extra for the privilege of buying his car. This ad has to be a joke, right? One curious soul wanted to find out.
Noted automobile evaluator and historian Shawn has spoken. His historic 11-year-old car has been in a movie...or a TV show...or a commercial...or a YouTube video...or an Instagram post...or a dream. Is it a good deal? Well...something like that.
