Sant’Agata, Santa Fe, same thing really
The Lamborghini Aventador – like the Countach of yore, this flagship raging bull is something of a dream car for many. The closest some of us will ever get to it is a poster on our bedroom walls or a wallpaper on our computers. Its five-figure price tag is enough of a peasant repellant. But what if there was another way. What if you could get that Aventador experience for about as much as a BMW 5-series?
Is this an ultra-rare front-engine Aventador from Sant’Agata? No! It’s a beast born in the skunkworks of Suburban California. To the seller’s credit, they are upfront about the fact that it is a kit car. But they also unashamedly show of a claimed 900hp Corvette engine under the hood. But given that a 900hp LS1 from Lingenfelter Performance costs nearly $32,000 alone…well, let’s just say, the dollar store sells decals too. Plus…the ad also says it features a 6-cylinder. Sometimes two cylinders just fall off. It happens.
The seller makes it clear their kit can’t be registered in California…but later say they took it to California Highway Patrol to make sure it’s clear. We’re not sure what that means, but it could have to do with the ‘Nauz’ system hooked up. We googled ‘Nauz’ and it appears to be a name. Is that Nauz sleeping in the fourth photo? Is that the fate of one poor potential buyer who tried to ‘dicker’ on the price? We may never know.
