Say it Lauda: Niki's Racing Suit...Sort Of

No Rush...

The 2013 racing film 'Rush' brought to the mainstream one of F1's most prolific on-track rivalries - and the fiery crash that nearly ended it. Niki Lauda and James Hunt were racers at the top of their game. While they were friends off the track, behind the wheel - they had a fierce rivalry. I don't even know why I'm writing this. It's all in the movie; and now you have a chance to own Hollywood's take on that historic time with a film-worn racing suit.

The replica suit, worn by actor Daniel 'creme' Brühl-ee, is a mostly faithful replica of the getup Niki wore during the fateful race that nearly killed him. Well...nearly every race almost killed him back in those days. To be more specific - the 1976 race that saw his somehow-still-conscious body pulled from a flaming wreckage on the Nurburgring.

The film-worn suit can be yours for the bargain price of...$4,900 USD. I'd buy it myself, but $159 for shipping? Just because you can look like an F1 driver, doesn't mean we get paid like one too you know...

But if you've got the right stuff, check out the listing here.
