The Happiest Meal: McSupra

We love the Supra. Now kids (and adults who buy kids meals) can too

We're big fans of the Toyota Supra GR here. We're also big fans of food. So when we learned McDonalds was collaborating with Toyota's Gazoo Racing division, we literally sat down to write an article about it.

Teaming up with pro drifters Daigo Saito and Nobuteru Taniguchi McDonalds of Japan announced their new Happy Meal toy in a big way. The pair, behind the wheels of some drift-spec Supras, careen their way around a track cordoned off in McDonald's signature red and yellow colour scheme, donut and figure-8 their way around a giant Big Mac and fries and climax with a coordinated drift around a motorized and oversized pack of Chicken McNuggets. Throughout the entire dance, the two even take the time to have a quick snack of french fries.

The smoky choreography ends with the drifters feeling a tad peckish. So they race to McDonald's and grab themselves a Happy Meal. Much to their delight - a little red Supra lay inside. Sadly for anyone outside of Japan, your Happy Meals won't contain the Tomica-made toy. So you'll have to think of another reason to steal your kids' toys.
